Muscular pain can be crippling. Rather than be weighed down by terrible pain its time its time you hack your way out. One of the fastest way to relieve pain is with a visit to a physiotherapist or remedial massage therapist.
Physical manipulation can be used to return your muscles back to their normal state. A qualified and experienced therapist can help you identify the source of your pain and then develop a plan to achieve sustainable relief.
Should I see my Physio or my GP first?
Physiotherapists are primary practitioners, meaning you can come in for an Initial Assessment and opinion from a Physiotherapist without seeing your GP first.
It may be necessary to seek further assessment or opinion from your GP or a specialist and we can facilitate this process for you.
What will happen at your first consultation?
Your Physiotherapist will gain a subjective history from you regarding your injury/condition and complete a thorough physical assessment so they can establish an accurate diagnosis.
Your and your Physiotherapist will set appropriate treatment goals and your Physiotherapist will begin their treatment techniques in your first session.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Please bring any relevant scans or reports concerning your injury. For your comfort, you may like to bring a change of clothes (t-shirt/shorts) for your treatment session.
If you have a running injury, please bring along the running/sports shoes you normally wear.
